FungAfrica is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization that shares cultural and spiritual heritage to audiences in the United States and all over the world. The Georgia-based group takes its origins from the Democratic Republic of Congo. The organization is more than just an entertainment group. It is a support and educational charitable association that serves as a bridge for Americans and Africans who want to learn from each other's cultures. In the United States FungAfrica uses highly sophisticated traditional drumming skills of its members to captivate audience's attention in order to bring the message home.
